Drysuit diving opens up a world of opportunities, from exploring remote Arctic destinations to enjoying the teeming life of our local cold-water sites in total comfort. Beyond just staying warm, a drysuit keeps you dry and cozy on multi-dive days, eliminating the struggle of getting in and out of a cold wetsuit.
The SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty is the best way to master the knowledge and techniques needed to dive safely and comfortably. You’ll learn to master specialized equipment, understand the benefits of thermal layers, and handle drysuit-specific emergencies with total confidence. Upon completion, you’ll earn your SSI Dry Suit Diving specialty certification—your ticket to year-round adventure.
Prerequisites

Minimum Age: 12 years old.

Certification: Must be a certified Open Water Diver (SSI or equivalent).

Medical: Must be in good physical health (standard medical questionnaire provided).

When & Where?

📍 Location: Confined water session (Pool) followed by Open Water dives at Greencastle Shore or similar local sites.

⏳ Duration: Approximately 1.5 Days.
