About the Course
The SSI Instructor Training Course (ITC Part 2) is the next step after completing the Assistant Instructor rating and marks your progression toward becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor. In this course, you will continue developing essential teaching skills, refine your instructional techniques, and gain further practical teaching experience. You'll practice delivering detailed academic sessions, perform in-water training, and further your career as a professional dive instructor.
Following this Course you will be ready to tackle the SSI Instructor Evaluation and become an SSI Open Water Instructor.
Once you complete the Instructor Evaluation and pass the required exams, you'll be fully qualified to teach SSI courses as an Open Water Scuba Instructor. If you're ready to take the next step in your diving career, this course will prepare you for the challenges and rewards of being an SSI instructor.

Prerequisites
- Assistant Instructor certification
- Minimum 60 logged dives (totaling 40 hours of dive time)
- Current medical statement
