SCUBA FORCE Classic TEC Harness (DIR Style)

The Purist's Choice: Uncompromising DIR Configuration
The Scuba Force Classic TEC Harness is designed for the technical diver who demands the absolute reliability of the "Doing It Right" (DIR) philosophy. Built around a single, continuous piece of premium German-made 50 mm webbing, this harness eliminates all plastic clips, quick-release buckles, and potential failure points. It is the ultimate bulletproof foundation for twinset and CCR diving, upgraded with an innovative sliding tri-glide system to solve the traditional headaches of continuous harness adjustment.

Key Technical Features:

  • Continuous German Webbing: Features a single 3.6-meter length of highly rigid, 50 mm webbing manufactured in Germany. It provides unparalleled stability under the weight of heavy steel cylinders and will not stretch or shift underwater.
  • The Sliding Tri-Glide Innovation: Unlike traditional DIR harnesses that require you to painstakingly push and pull webbing through the backplate slots to adjust the size, this set includes two special sliding tri-glides for the rear. This allows you to adjust the shoulder fit simply by pulling on the webbing.
  • Premium Stainless Hardware: Fully loaded with marine-grade stainless steel hardware, including two cranked/bent D-rings for the chest, two standard D-rings for the waist, a heavy-duty belt buckle, and eight standard tri-glides to lock everything in place.
  • Drysuit-Friendly Crotch Strap: Includes a dedicated crotch strap made from a significantly softer webbing material to prevent abrasion on your expensive drysuit. It features integrated front and rear D-rings for DPV (scooter) towing and reel stowage.

⚓ Oceanauts Academy: Tech Tip

The DIR Philosophy: Zero Failure Points
In deep wreck penetration or cave diving, a broken plastic buckle on a BCD can be a life-threatening emergency. The classic TEC Harness relies entirely on continuous webbing and stainless steel, ensuring that once you are rigged up, your system simply cannot fail.

1. Solving the "DIR Tax"
The traditional "tax" of diving a DIR harness is the agonizing process of sizing it. If you switch from a thin summer undersuit to a massive winter thermal layer, you usually have to spend 30 minutes re-threading your backplate. The Scuba Force sliding tri-glides on the rear of the plate allow the webbing to move smoothly when intentionally pulled, letting you adjust your harness size in seconds on the dive deck.

2. Positioning Your D-Rings
Because the system comes completely unassembled, you have total control over your hardware. Position your cranked (bent) D-rings exactly at the collarbone to ensure you can clip off stage cylinders effortlessly, even in zero visibility.

⚓ The Oceanauts Standard: The Classic TEC Harness is the definition of rugged minimalism. Pair it with a heavy stainless steel backplate to create an indestructible buoyancy system built for the harshest environments.
