Your dive computer is the most important piece of safety equipment you own, but are you using it to its full potential? Most divers only scratch the surface of what their computers can do. The SSI Computer Diving specialty provides in-depth, detailed training on how to properly set up, manage, and interpret the data on your wrist to make every dive safer and more efficient.
Guided by the Oceanauts team, you’ll move beyond the basics of "depth and time." You will learn how to adjust conservatism settings, understand deco-theory models, manage battery life, and use your computer’s planning tools to prepare for your next adventure. Whether you’ve just bought your first entry-level computer or a high-end Shearwater, this course ensures you are the master of your tech, not the other way around.
Prerequisites

Minimum Age: 10 years old.

Certification: Open Water Diver (or currently enrolled as a Referral Diver).

Medical: No medical required for this classroom-based specialty.

When & Where?

📍 Location: Oceanauts Diving HQ (Warrenpoint) or a comfortable local classroom setting. This can also be delivered online

⏳ Duration: Approximately 3–6 hours.

📅 Scheduling: Once purchased, we will contact you to arrange a workshop time that suits you. This is a "dry" course and can be scheduled regardless of weather or tides!
