The Pandora Lab K1 Rescue is a handheld dive torch with a focused beam, straightforward twist operation and a compartment for an SMP surface distress marker. The version supplied by Oceanauts has a single lighting mode and includes a rechargeable 26650 battery and charger.
Why we’ve selected it
A narrow beam and simple on/off operation make this a practical option for divers who prefer a torch without multiple modes to cycle through. The integrated marker compartment adds a surface signalling option without a separate holder.
Using the K1 Rescue
The head rotates to switch the light on and off. Avoid excessive loosening, as this can allow water to enter the torch. Follow the supplied operating and maintenance instructions.
The SMP marker is intended for emergency signalling at the surface. Its visibility varies with conditions; there is no fixed guaranteed sighting distance.
Optional extension cable and Auto Handle accessories allow alternative configurations. These are sold separately.
