The Pandora Lab K1 Strobe & Video Light combines a wide-angle continuous light for underwater filming with a flashing mode for signalling. Its compact body uses a single rechargeable 26350 battery, supplied with a charger in the Oceanauts package.
Why we’ve selected it
This is a useful option for divers who want a small video light that also offers a signalling function. The 160° beam spreads light across the subject, while the removable diffuser cap lets you configure it for signalling.
Using the light
Remove the diffuser cap for video use and fit it for signalling. Twist the head to switch the light on in continuous mode; an on–off–on sequence selects flashing mode. Avoid excessive loosening of the head, as this can allow water to enter.
Signalling visibility depends on water clarity, ambient light and other conditions. There is no fixed guaranteed sighting distance. Follow the supplied operating and maintenance instructions.
The compatible Auto Handle, bolt snap and camera housing are separate accessories and are not included.
