The Shearwater Perdix 3 is a full-size dive computer for recreational and technical diving, combining a 2.4-inch AMOLED display with a user-replaceable AA battery. It supports air, nitrox and trimix, with optional wireless tank-pressure monitoring.

The larger AMOLED screen and oversized display layout make this worth considering if readability is high on your list. It also offers room to develop your diving without moving to a different computer for trimix or fixed-PO₂ rebreather calculations.

Fit and compatibility

Wireless pressure monitoring requires compatible transmitters, sold separately. GPS location support requires a compatible GPS transmitter; it is not built-in underwater GPS navigation. CC/BO mode uses fixed PO₂ rather than a direct oxygen-sensor connection. Avelo mode requires a separate unlock code.

Vibration alerts require a supported battery: 1.5 V non-rechargeable lithium or supported 3.7 V rechargeable lithium. Follow Shearwater’s battery guidance.
