SSI Assistant Instructor Course - ITC Part 1

About the Course
The Assistant Instructor rating is the next step after becoming a Divemaster along the SSI Scuba Instructor pathway. It allows you to collect valuable teaching experience, practice briefings, teach academics, and conduct in-water training.

If you want to further your career as a dive professional, you can finish the Instructor Training Course (ITC Part 2), pass the Instructor Evaluation, and become an Open Water Diving Instructor.

Prerequisites
Divemaster certification, Minimum 60 logged dives (totaling 40 hours dive time)

What's Included
Digital learning materials
Digital Certification card
Academic Session (in person/online)
Confined and Open Water Training Dives
Instructor Package Physical Materials 

What's not Included
Total Diving System - As this is a professional level course you are expected to be using your own high quality Total Diving System (excluding cylinders and weights)

Professional Fee - Upon completion of the course you will need to pay your professional  registration fee directly to SSI.

Duration
Each Assistant Instructor Course will run for 4/5 days depending on number of students

Mixture of Pool, Open Water and In-Person/Online academic sessions.
